Barbossauna Aberdeen is a converted horsebox sauna on the Esplanade, set right on the promenade with the beach and sea a short walk away. Fishing gear and potted plants decorate the outside.
The Esplanade here is lively, with beachgoers, dog walkers and the odd cyclist passing throughout the day.

There's free parking right along the promenade, though spaces can get busy. The retail park nearby across the road is a reliable backup, about 10 minutes on foot.
The promenade here is lively, with beachgoers, dog walkers and cyclists passing throughout the day, so it's not a secluded setting.
There's a steep grassy slope down from the sauna, with stairs available if you'd rather not do the grass.
