About this sauna
Set on a private hilltop within the Woodlands Glencoe estate, this sauna overlooks Loch Linnhe and Glen Coe from an open hillside setting.
Large windows frame the landscape from inside, while the outdoor decking includes a built-in cold plunge bath, shower and waterfall buckets.
Although other accommodation sits elsewhere on the estate, the sauna area itself is secluded and private, with a wooden seating area facing out towards the loch and mountains.

From my visit
Yes — even though there’s other accommodation elsewhere on the estate, the sauna itself feels completely separate once you’re up there. The hilltop position and surrounding trees make it feel very private, and during my visit I never felt overlooked or disturbed by other guests.
The views were easily the standout part of the experience for me. The sauna looks out across Loch Linnhe towards Glen Coe, and the large floor-to-ceiling window means you still get the full view even while sitting inside the sauna.
The built-in plunge bath sits level with the decking beside the sauna, alongside two waterfall buckets and an outdoor shower. I liked that everything was right beside the sauna, so it was easy to move between the heat, cold water and outdoor seating without needing to walk anywhere.
