About this sauna

Escape Sauna North Berwick sits beside Drift Coffeehouse on the East Lothian coast, a few miles east of North Berwick and half a mile from Tantallon Castle. There are two saunas — Escape to the Bay, wood-fired with views over Quarrel Sands, and Escape to the Bass, electric — both with a cold plunge.

Drift Coffeehouse is an award-winning coastal spot popular with walkers, cyclists and day trippers, and the sauna fits naturally into that setting — somewhere to stop, warm up and sit with a coffee afterwards looking out over the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock.

What to expect

  • Attended by a host throughout the session
  • Community sessions for up to 5 people
  • Choice of wood-fired sauna with bay views or electric sauna
  • Cold plunge pool available between rounds
  • Coastal setting beside Drift Coffeehouse overlooking the Firth of Forth

Additional experiences and sessions

  • Private hire available
  • Yoga sessions available
