About this sauna

Willowgate Sauna Perth is a wood-fired sauna in a converted horsebox set within the adventure centre’s grounds beside the River Tay, with open countryside and views of Kinnoull Hill from the site. The site is large, with plenty of space around the sauna itself.

The setting is generally quiet, though activity sessions on the water sometimes run nearby, particularly with groups of children. It’s a relaxed, low-key atmosphere rather than a social sauna scene.

What to expect

  • Welcomed by a host at reception on arrival
  • Small sauna sessions with up to 6 people
  • Wood-fired sauna inside a converted horsebox
  • Swim in a sheltered, enclosed lagoon
  • Quiet, low-key setting within the wider activity centre grounds
  • Activity sessions on the water sometimes run nearby, often with groups of children

What’s nearby

The Willowgate Café is onsite, serving coffee and homemade cake with views over the river — open Wednesday to Sunday, 09:00–16:00. The riverside path towards Perth city centre makes for a pleasant walk before or after a session, though it can be muddy in winter. Willowgate also runs other outdoor activities on site, including archery, axe throwing and paddlesports.
